What does the process of purchasing a commission look like?
You will need purchase a commission spot by paying the $30.00 deposit. Once the commission spot has been purchased I will send you an email. We will then confirm the card you want and I will send you a quote. Once we are in agreement you will have 24 hrs to pay for the commission in full. If you chose to back out of the Commission or do not pay the final total within the 24hr time frame you will forfeit your deposit and spot.
What is the average cost of a Commission?
Commissions start at $250.00 USD and can range up to $400.00. Full Arts tend to fall closer to $400, while non full arts hit closer to $250. The amount of time to complete will be the biggest factor when it comes to cost. An average non full art will typically fall between 10-13 hrs while full arts can fall closer to 16-20 hrs. Your deposit does go toward the final cost. The cost of the cards will be included as well. I currently do not offer LED's in commissions currently. All cards can include custom engraved frames or foil, the decision to add based on the induvial card being worked on. These options are left to artist choice, however, if you do NOT want a certain feature you can request that.
Who will supply the cards?
Proxies are NEVER an option. Every card I use is real & if you supply them they will need to be authentic as well. On average I use between 6-10 cards. Any cards that cost over $10 per card will need to be supplied by you. If it falls under the $10 per card I can supply them. You will need to provide tracking information when shipping the cards as well. I am not responsible for cards lost in the mail. Tracking will alleviate this if the problem arises. During the initial conversation I will map out the card and let you know exactly how many cards are needed for the finished piece regardless of who supplies them.
What TCG's are accepted?
I am willing to work on the majority of major TCG's. However, I ask that you contact me regarding MTG cards as some are too dark for me to be willing to work on. You can contact me at 3deviousart@gmail.com Please keep in mind that any obscure TCGs you will need to provide yourself.
How long does the process take?
The process from start to finish takes 3-6 weeks. Once I receive the cards I will send out a start date. It usually takes the cards 2 weeks to come in the mail. Once I have them I will let you know when I will be starting the process. It takes on average 2-3 days to finish a card. Throughout the process I will send time updates and progress photos. Commissions posted will be started the following month, For example commissions posted in August will be started in September.
Who covers the cost of shipping?
Shipping is free to anyone located inside of the United States. Outside of the United States you will cover shipping when placing the deposit. Shipping outside of the US usually falls around $20 USD
How will my card be shipped?
Each card comes with a custom case and display easel. You will receive tracking information once the piece is shipped. Most shipping takes 3 to 5 days to receive.
